Job Description:

We are looking for a multifamily construction Project Engineer to support and assist management to achieve project profitability and schedule project milestones. The project engineer wil be responsible to review design and bidding documents, evaluate bids, and oversee project progress. They focus on residential and commercial projects, throughout the Greater Seattle area and are known as one of the most active and influential real estate developers! Description* Material quantity takeoffs for ordering, purchasing, and estimating* Update and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications and log * Begin, follow, and complete shop drawing and submittal process to the owner/agencies * Review, analyze, and transmit submittals * Verify original estimate quantities for labor cost reports * Scheduling of various crew activities and subcontractors The Project Engineer will be responsible but not limited to: * Records management, including costs, progress, materials, and equipment * Various safety enforcement and implementation tasks * Project reports related to traffic control, erosion control, pollution control, etc * Problem investigation and solving by using various engineering practices * Produce field drawings & calculated elevations, stations, and offsets from contract plans * Basic surveying activities to establish line and elevations in the field * Maintain progress photo album * Collaboratively work with Project Manager and Superintendent, and help support the field foremen * Complete other responsibilities as assignedProfile* Bachelor's degree in construction management, or related field of study* Must have experience in ground up construction projects * 1 or more years' field and multifamily construction project planning experience* Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines* Effective communication skills * Understand and act upon urgency of tasks * General knowledge of office protocol, routines and procedures.* Solution oriented and efficient worker Job Offer
