Chain & Logistics Coordinator to join us on our journey to
facilitate a digital revolution in the B2B supply chain.The Supply
Chain & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of
supply chain and logistics management to support customer
activity.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinates with
customers to ensure efficient and effective delivery of Vorto
servicesWorks with clients to book pick-up and delivery of
shipmentsCommunicates with area manager throughout the load cycle,
providing updates as necessaryManages and oversees the execution of
day-to-day logistics operationsMonitors and manages inventory,
storage, and transportationAnalyzes and optimizes logistical
procedures.Ensures the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of
shipmentsMonitors shipments, costs, and timelinesAddresses and
resolves shipment and routing issuesBuilds and maintains logistics
provider relationships with new/existing brokers/shippersManages
and oversees the consistent supply and delivery of materials from
existing suppliers to customersWorks with area managers to ensure
high utilization of driversContinuously identifies opportunities
for process improvementOther duties and special projects as
assignedRequirementsExceptional analytical and critical thinking
skillsAbility to positively react to dynamic situations and make
thoughtful decisions quicklyAbility to work a flexible 12 hour day,
Monday through FridayProficiency in Microsoft Office (outlook,
excel, word) and logistics softwareDemonstrate a strong sense of
urgency in all projects and an ability to prioritize and
re-prioritize as necessary.Ability to multi-task projects and
required tasks in an organized fashionAbility to work in a team
environment as well as self-motivated in individual projectsStrong
communication skills in order to communicate both verbally and in
writing to drivers and clientsEducational/Experience
Requirements:2+ years of Supply Chain & Logistics experience as
well as experience planning drop & hook loads.Bachelors degree in
Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering
