Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. This full-time Special Education teaching opportunity
offers a contract position supporting K-12 students in a Denver, CO
school. The assignment begins ASAP and runs through March 2, 2026,
with the potential for extension pending administrative decisions
in late February. Key qualifications include: A valid Colorado
Department of Education Professional Teaching License with Special
Education Generalist Endorsement (grades 5-21) is required.
Temporary, substitute, interim, or traveler licenses are not
accepted unless the permanent SPED license with the proper
endorsement is in process with proof provided. Deep expertise in
instructional strategies and practices tailored for special
education students, including those working with alternative
standards. Strong knowledge of the Individualized Education Program
(IEP) process and proven ability to collaborate effectively with
multidisciplinary IEP teams. Demonstrated experience supporting
students with diverse learning needs and designing specialized
instruction. Primary responsibilities involve: Delivering
specialized educational instruction aligned with student IEPs to
promote academic and social growth. Collaborating closely with
educators, therapists, and parents to develop and implement
effective educational plans. Utilizing best practices in special
education to meet the unique needs of each student within the
classroom environment. Participating in ongoing professional
development and contributing to IEP meetings and school

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.82 to $50.82.
