Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. Exciting opportunity for a Special Education Teacher to
support K-12 students in a junior high school setting in Colorado
Springs, CO. This contract position offers the chance to make a
meaningful impact on the academic and social development of
students with special needs during the current school year.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education
plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the diverse needs of students within
a caseload of approximately 25 Collaborate with general education
teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning
environments Monitor student progress, provide accommodations,
modifications, and specialized instruction as required Communicate
effectively with parents and guardians to support student growth
and success Maintain accurate records, documentation, and
compliance with relevant regulations and policies Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification in special education Familiarity with
K-12 special education strategies, best practices, and legal
requirements Experience working with middle school students
preferred Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal
skills Ability to work collaboratively within an educational team
Schedule and Duration: Position begins ASAP and continues through
May 21, 2026 Full-day schedule, tentative hours 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM
Contract role serving the junior high grade level within the
