Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An exciting opportunity is available for a Special
Education Teacher to support students from kindergarten through
12th grade in a junior high setting located in Peyton, CO. This
contract position runs through the current school year and offers
the chance to make a meaningful impact on a caseload of
approximately 25 students. Key Responsibilities: Develop and
implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each
student's needs Collaborate with general education teachers,
support staff, and families to provide inclusive and effective
instruction Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies
accordingly Maintain accurate records and documentation in
compliance with state regulations Foster a positive and supportive
learning environment that promotes student growth and development
Qualifications: Valid certification in Special Education Experience
working with K-12 students in a special education setting,
preferably at the junior high level Strong knowledge of IEP
development and special education laws Excellent communication and
collaboration skills Ability to manage a caseload of 25 students
effectively Schedule and Location: Position is based in Peyton, CO,
serving a junior high school Work hours are tentatively scheduled
from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM Start date is immediate, with the contract
ending May 21, 2026 This role offers an engaging teaching
