A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, focusing on a middle school caseload. This contract role involves working 40 hours per week at a single site, an all-girls charter school located in Denver, CO. The caseload will consist of approximately 30 students with mild to moderate special education needs. Responsibilities: Manage a middle school special education caseload of around 30 students. Provide tailored instruction and support to students with mild to moderate disabilities. Collaborate in co-teaching English classes alongside general education teachers. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation. Foster an inclusive classroom environment to support diverse learners. Communicate effectively with parents, administrators, and support staff. Qualifications: Valid Special Education Teacher certification. Experience working with middle school students in a special education setting. Ability to co-teach and collaborate with general educators. Knowledge of mild to moderate disabilities and appropriate instructional strategies. Strong organizational and communication skills.
