Job Description:
As a Maintenance Electrician at Cargill, you will play a
critical role in maintaining and repairing electrical systems
within our food and beverage processing facilities. Your expertise
will ensure the operational efficiency, safety, and reliability of
our electrical equipment and systems, aligning with our mission to
sustainably nourish the global community. This position involves
troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs,
working closely with a team committed to excellence and innovation
in the industry. Conduct routine and preventive maintenance to
ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems and machinery.
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in circuitry and other
electrical components. Install, service, and repair electrical
devices and fixtures, from lighting to complex machinery controls.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to develop systems that improve
plant efficiency. Ensure compliance with national safety codes and
regulations pertaining to electrical systems. Document and maintain
records of inspections, maintenance routines, and repairs.
Proficient in reading electrical and mechanical schematics and
blueprints. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and high-voltage
equipment. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Aptitude for adhering to safety guidelines and regulations. Medical
