Job Description:

Well-established construction company with over 30 years in business is looking for a Sr. Accountant / Accounting Manager. The company has a well respected history of delivering projects in residential, commercial, and government projects. In this role you'll be responsible for overseeing one AP/Billing Specialist while being hand's on for other accounting duties such as payroll, reconciliations, month end close, sales and use tax, etc. Key Responsibilities: Manage payroll, billing, accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR), sales & use tax Perform bank reconciliations and month-end close processes Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations Requirements: 3+ years of accounting experience in payroll, AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Pluses: Sage 300 or similar ERP Project Accounting experience such as WIP accounting and/or job costing Audit preparation, 940 and W2 filing, COI Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 3 - 5 years Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
