Summary:
This position is responsible for oversight of all clinical aspects of UCHealth specialty pharmacy initiatives and through partnership with operations, oversees specialty pharmacy services. This includes primary oversight of the specialty drug prior authorization process, collaboration with specialty pharmacy stakeholders, leading the patient management program, and driving efforts through appropriate leadership to specialty pharmacy staff within the scope of services. This position will support specialty pharmacy clinical care and provide leadership to specialty pharmacy staff within the scope of services. This position will work closely with the pharmacy operations team to monitor patient services and ensure full specialty pharmacy accreditation standards are maintained. Work Schedule: Full Time Days Responsibilities:
Serves as the UCHealth specialty pharmacy lead responsible for all aspects of the specialty pharmacy program. Collaborates and works with the UCHealth operational pharmacy lead on dispensing activities Lead the specialty pharmacy patient management program (PMP) to ensure safe and cost-effective specialty pharmacy medication use and to meet specialty pharmacy accreditation standards Manage the specialty pharmacy vendor relationships, including any vendor clinical staff that support the specialty pharmacy care program Collaborate with clinical pharmacists embedded in specialty practices to ensure safe and effective specialty pharmacy medication use and focus on UCHealth capture rates. Leads efforts to support the use of UCHealth pharmacies for specialty pharmacy prescriptions when access is available Partner with the Specialty Pharmacy Operational lead to ensure clinical aspects of URAC and ACHC accreditation standards are maintained at all times Lead specialty pharmacy committees including the Specialty Pharmacy Practice Committee (SPCC) and the Specialty Pharmacy Oversight Committee (SPOC) The pay range for this position is: $57.56 - $92.10 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
