Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)
for an immediate travel assignment in Barrington, IL.
Must have at least 1 year of radiologic imaging experience and hold
ARRT (R) certification, BLS, and state-specific licensing if
required.
Responsibilities include operating diagnostic imaging equipment,
ensuring accurate images, preparing patients, and maintaining
records.
Tasks involve confirming patient ID, explaining procedures,
positioning patients, preventing unnecessary radiation, calibrating
equipment, and using the PACS system.
Candidates should have strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology,
pathology, and medical terminology, and be able to stand and walk
for extended periods.
Additional certifications may be required prior to assignment.
