Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel RN
specializing in Surgical Trauma ICU to join our team of
compassionate healthcare professionals. Our nonprofit health care
system based in Colorado is focused on delivering patient-centered
care across our vast network of hospitals and outpatient
facilities. This role involves providing critical care to patients
in our state-of-the-art Surgical Trauma ICU, utilizing the latest
in medical technology and evidence-based practices. Provide direct
and comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the
Surgical Trauma ICU. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare
teams to formulate individualized care plans. Monitor and record
patient's condition continuously; adjust treatment plans as
necessary. Administer medications and treatments accurately and
safely. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and
recovery processes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing
practices and protocols. Proficiency in using ICU medical equipment
and technology. Ability to perform critical care nursing tasks with
confidence and accuracy. Strong communication skills for
interacting with patients, families, and medical staff. Critical
thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
