Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/31/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Summary – Nuclear Medicine Technologist/n/nShift: Monday–Friday | 06:00–14:30/n/nRole Overview:/nPerforms Nuclear Medicine procedures to obtain diagnostic imaging per physician orders, including patient transfers and assisting throughout the exam process./n/nKey Responsibilities:/n/nOperate Nuclear Medicine imaging equipment safely and effectively/n/nEducate, position, and prepare patients for procedures/n/nEnsure timely, high-quality imaging and continuity of care/n/nFollow imaging orders accurately and submit images to Radiologist for interpretation/n/nEvaluate image quality/n/nPrepare and administer radioisotopes per protocol/n/nFollow radiation safety guidelines (ALARA)/n/nMaintain records of radioisotope receipt, storage, usage, and disposal per state/federal regulations/n/nMaintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards/n/nManage supplies and documentation appropriately/n/nCommunicate effectively with patients, staff, and leadership/n/nHandle multiple tasks and meet deadlines About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
