Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system in Colorado,
seeks a dedicated Clinical Educator for Nursing Dialysis to enhance
the competency and quality of nursing care in the dialysis unit.
This role involves developing and leading training programs for
nursing staff to ensure the delivery of exceptional
patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in
dialysis treatment, patient education, and staff training,
contributing to UCHealth's commitment to excellence in healthcare
services. Develop and implement training programs for dialysis
nursing staff. Evaluate clinical practice and learning outcomes to
ensure compliance with standards. Collaborate with healthcare teams
to integrate dialysis educational activities. Provide mentorship
and coaching to new and existing nursing staff. Stay updated with
advancements in dialysis therapy and nursing education techniques.
Assist in the assessment and utilization of new clinical
technologies and practices within the dialysis unit. Strong
knowledge of dialysis procedures and patient care. Excellent
teaching and communication skills. Ability to assess educational
needs and design effective training. Proficiency in clinical health
care applications and technology. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license. Certification in Nephrology Nursing (CNN) or
Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) preferred.
