Firmware Tester Location: Denver, CO Job Type: Full Time BASIC
DUTIES Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual
test scripts for firmware applications. Follow, support, and
improve a repeatable quality assurance process for firmware
development. Debug, develop, and maintain test data, test
environments and test scripts that validate the quality of the
firmware product and that it is functioning as required. Identify
ways that negative testing scenarios can be run to validate the
quality of the firmware developed. Ensure that automated testing is
driving the efficiency and quality of firmware delivery. Assess
interface design and implementation with an emphasis on usability
for a variety of applications and user levels. Design and execute
system performance, load, and benchmark testing. Support testing,
deployment, and monitoring of applications. Build test harnesses
and test plans for functions, components, and systems. Work as a
team to develop optimal solutions that meet customers and business
needs. Required Knowledge: Understanding of software quality
assurance principles. Familiar with designing, developing, and
executing software tests. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools
like Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Familiar with debugging,
configuration management, and defect tracking. Experience Required:
Three or more years' experience testing software applications and
systems. Experience with automated testing. Skills / Abilities:
Work well in a structured team environment. Ability to find simple
solutions for solving complex problems. Willingness to learn,
teach, and pay close attention to details. Ability to research,
implement, and report in an articulate, professional manner.
Ability to work independently and as a team member. Have
organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Thanks Raina
