We are seeking talented software engineers and architects interested in a fast-paced design-test-learn life cycle for innovative computer vision projects. Utilizing world-class space development and test facilities, LM seeks to engineer the next generation of robust, autonomous space vehicle perception and visible navigation solutions across a variety of challenging missions. With an appetite for accepting risk and a drive for innovation, this team intends to employ the latest advances in machine learning, autonomous driving, and deep learning research to meet exciting, emerging customer needs. In this role you will: --- Immersed within a talented team of engineers working across a variety of potential roles. --- Utilize simulation environments across a range of phenomenologies for synthetic image generation. --- Simulation based performance analysis within a closed-loop simulation environment, inclusive of vehicle guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) simulations, demonstrates end-to-end mission capability. --- Porting C/C++ code to space-industry leading avionics platforms run within real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) environments enables the team to demonstrate platform performance. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
