a systems administrator to help us maintain forensic systems and
infrastructure.
As a systems administrator on our project, you'll constantly look
for ways to make our infrastructure better using the latest
technology and the best implementation strategies. You'll provide
your customers with insight into their network through monitoring
and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital
as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in
a mission-critical network. You'll help your team better understand
the network by turning metrics into information and explaining
their meaning. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your
expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team
work through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a
technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to modernize
the network to help your customers meet their needs.

You Have:
8+ years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or network and systems
administration
Experience with Red Hat Linux (RHEL) systems administration and
with operating and managing VMWARE ESX servers
Experience with installing and configuring domain controllers and
Windows servers, user and group management, and basic GPO
configuration
Experience with administering and managing user and system accounts
on Debian, Ubuntu, or Fedora Linux distributions
Experience with troubleshooting system and permissions issues on
Debian, Ubuntu, or Fedora Linux distributions, and managing and
troubleshooting network infrastructure, including switches,
routers, and firewalls
Ability to integrate Linux systems with Active Directory
Ability to secure Debian, Ubuntu, or Fedora Linux distributions
according to government standards, including STIGs or NIST Special
Publications
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with performing system administration of Windows and
Windows Server versions
Experience with installing and configuring domain controllers and
Windows servers, user and group management, and basic GPO
configuration
Knowledge of Zettabyte File Systems
Ability to write extensive BASH scripts to facilitate workflow for
users
Ability to write Python programs to facilitate workflow for
users
Ability to operate in a high-speed environment with changing and
evolving mission priorities
Linux+ Certification
IAT III Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and
may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified
information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including
but not limited to location, the individual's particular
combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and
experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and
organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for
this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The
estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this
position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total
compensation package for employees. This posting will close within
90 days from the Posting Date.
