in-person hybrid and requires residency within a 35-mile radius of
the 80230 area. The schedule includes 3 days onsite (Tuesday,
Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days remote (Mondays and Fridays). What
you'll be doing: The IT Infrastructure Manager is the primary
infrastructure solutions architect and leads all engineering and
administrative team members in development of next generation
infrastructure and system solutions. This individual requires
excellent collaboration and coordination skills to communicate
across IT leadership, engineers, administrators, service desk,
security MSSP, Data Strategy team, and Enterprise Application team
to ensure highly available, secure, and responsive IT systems.
They'll lead the sunsetting of legacy applications/systems and
implement new technologies that adhere to our strategic roadmap.
The role demonstrates senior level knowledge and expertise in all
systems (both on-premise and cloud ), and identifies system
requirements, recommends improvements, and implements changes with
infrastructure engineers and administrators to enhance efficiency
and reliability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Team
Leadership : Provides oversight to assigned team by supervising,
guiding, and directing employees to be effective team members.
Ensures that everyone is equipped with the right skills, tools, and
talents necessary for executing their duties. Using the established
people processes (performance, development, succession, and career)
to ensure that their team's level of performance and capabilities
meet current and future standards. Leads engineers and
administrators in design, development, delivery, and remediation of
cost-effective, secure, highly available enterprise scale
infrastructure on-premise and in the cloud. Leads investigation of
new or improved technologies and contributes to strategic
infrastructure planning, while sunsetting legacy
systems/applications. Collaborates with engineers and IT Director
in infrastructure modernization efforts such as Azure IaaS and PaaS
design, migration to Azure AD, next generation security solutions,
systems integrations, and high-profile vendor selections. Take lead
on day to day activities and delegate appropriate tasks to
departmental staff Business Systems Leadership : Serves as a
technical infrastructure liaison between the vendor and business
owners for all critical ERCPL systems such as the MicroMD RCM,
Dynamics SL, Frameworks, surveillance and building automation
systems, PrinterLogic, etc. Ensures the technical stack supporting
all business systems is in line with vendor requirements, ERCPL
infrastructure requirements, and industry best practices. Works
with engineers and administrators to build robust DR procedures and
exercises for all business systems and critical infrastructure.
Provides on call coverage for weeknights to support staff in
facility emergencies. Engineering & Administrative Suppor t: Works
hand in hand with the Service Desk Manager to ensure all Tier 3 and
4 incidents are triaged appropriately for response and resolution
in line with SLAs. Ensures strong communication channel with the
Service Desk Manager for seamless teammate experience. Mentors and
trains individuals on best-practices, troubleshooting, and
automation. System Security & Compliance : Works with Managed
Security Service Provider (MSSP) , IT leadership, engineers, and
administrators to deliver a security first approach to service and
solution delivery to enforce HIPAA compliance. Manages all SLAs
with engineers and leads any forensic analysis in an exercised,
suspected, or actual security breach. Critical Incident Triage &
After Action : Provides afterhours support as needed for critical
systems (Ex: Maintenance & Escalations) and collaborates with ERCPL
team members to triage issues. Participates in major incident
reviews, assisting in the identification of root cause and
remediation needed to permanently restore service. Required
Education and/or Experience: Bachelors Degree in Information
Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related degree
is required. Strong experience in Azure cloud environments
including IaaS, PaaS, and Virtual Desktop. Strong experience in
Microsoft Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019), On-premise Active
Directory, and AD services including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP.
Strong experience in Microsoft 365 systems - Exchange, Teams,
SharePoint, OneDrive. Strong experience in network routing
protocols and best practices. Strong experience in Cyber Security
and how it is related to Microsoft technologies DLP, AIP, Cloud App
Security, O365 Content search, Audit. Strong experience in VMware
ESXi servers, vCenter and Horizon VDI. Skilled in collaboration and
coordination across disciplines. Excellent communication skills,
both verbal and written. At least 2 years of direct team and people
management experience. Willing to travel up to 25% and occasionally
work evenings and weekends. Preferred License or Certification:
Microsoft Certified Solutions Architect ITIL Certification VMware
Certified Associate – Data Compensation starting range for the
Manager IT role is $155,000 - $175,000. Ranges are based upon
market expectations and are dependent upon candidate experience.
The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate
experience and market expectations. Colorado pay range
