Associate Portfolio Strategist supports the firm's senior
strategists by ensuring that portfolio compliance is maintained and
by staying attuned to current market conditions. This role
contributes to the strategic dialogue through research, technical
support, and effective communication with both clients and senior
firm members. A keen understanding of financial markets, especially
fixed income, and strong analytical skills are essential for
providing insights and supporting the firm's broader investment
strategies. In addition, this role will actively and directly
participate in efforts to obtain new business as assigned. The
essential functions of the role include, but are not limited to the
following:Investments (approximately 60% of time): Conducts basic
supervision of client portfolios to ensure alignment with
pre-defined investment strategies and compliance with regulatory
standards. Gains knowledge of prevailing market trends by regularly
reviewing financial news and analyzing global economic indicators.
Participates in the preparation of reports and collaborates with
senior team members to ensure accuracy and clarity in client
communications. Initiates the development of professional
relationships by networking, attending relevant events, and
engaging with peers, while laying the groundwork for client
rapport. Assists with product-related and technical tasks,
contributing to the development or refinement of financial
products. Aids in research efforts by collecting data and
performing initial analyses, contributing to the formulation and
development of investment strategies. Business Development
(approximately 40% of time) Within assigned target markets,
Identify and research potential decision makers within client
organizations. Support current and future business development
function. Assist in facilitating event logistics and preparations
to ensure smooth execution. Maintain Salesforce data with the
latest client and prospect information within assigned target
markets. Gain familiarity with all educational product offerings of
the company. Help in crafting and preparing presentations for
clients and prospects. Provide target market support in Request for
Proposal (RFP) documentation and preparation. Work collaboratively
with the Business Development team to enhance growth efforts. This
Team Member will have:Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance,
Economics, or a related field is required. An MBA or CFA
designation preferred. Industry Experience: At least 2 years of
experience in fixed income asset management or investments is
required. Technical Proficiency: Exceptional analytical abilities
to evaluate investment opportunities and market conditions are
critical. Advanced proficiency in investment analysis software and
tools is required. Client Interaction Experience: Must have prior
experience in client-facing roles, particularly discussing fixed
income portfolios. Knowledge & Skills: Demonstrated expertise in
financial markets with a concentration on fixed income assets.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and market
trends. Communication Skills: The ability to collaborate
efficiently in team settings and work cross-departmentally is
necessary. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Qualifications: Proficiency with investment analysis
software and tools. Ability to work collaboratively in a team
environment. Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in
