technology. Lockheed Martin is looking for a forward-thinking
Spacecraft Electrical Systems Engineer to join the team in Denver,
Colorado. This is a "Ground floor" opportunity on a new program
award with a rapid System Requirements Review (SRR) and System
Functional Review (SFR). This is a flagship program leveraging LM
Space MBSE, MBE, and Digital Enterprise initiatives. In this role,
you will : --- Oversee all electrical performance and integration,
power modeling, channelization/electrical interconnect management,
compatibility analysis, and electrical subsystem designs to ensure
compliance with the spacecraft level technical baseline,
maintaining end to end compatibility, functional allocations and
margins --- Support trade studies for power system implementations,
payload accommodations and system architecture --- Perform complex
trades to establish the baseline architecture, incorporating
components from multiple heritage systems as well as newly
developed systems --- Serve as a Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE)
supporting the Space Vehicle CPE/Chief Systems Engineer, the
technical advocate for the satellite throughout its lifecycle, from
requirements definition through mission operations; the RSE
verifies that the satellite aligns with both the Command Media and
program technical requirements, and resists inappropriate
compromise and risk, checks programmatic decisions, and balances
technical performance, cost, schedule, and risk, while ensuring
mission success --- Participate in developing and executing
critical development program key reviews such as SRR, SDR/SFR, PDR
and CDR, effectively communicating to program and customer
management and executive leadership extemporaneously and in formal

Qualifications: --- Electrical design experience --- Familiarity
with Systems Engineering and mission assurance fundamentals
necessary for delivering the highest reliability space systems ---
Current TS or SCI security clearance Desired Skills: --- Electrical
integration (power modeling, electrical compatibility analysis,
etc.) --- Satellite or spacecraft design, integration, test and/or
operations --- Spacecraft integration and expertise in multiple
spacecraft subsystems --- Demonstrated success in technical
leadership role and driving issues/challenges to closure --- Active
TS/SCI security clearance --- Ability to achieve LM CPE/RSE and
Engineering Material Review Board (EMRB) certification; Prior
experience as spacecraft or electrical subsystem/component CPE ---
Creating/modifying system design artifacts per the requirements
baseline --- A problem-solver with strong skills in decision-making
(related to cost, schedule, technical and risk), and closure
(dedication to close open items/issues) to ensure mission success
--- Good facilitator and able to lead resolution of issues, and
demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex design
information, technical decisions and issues to both highly
technical and non-technical reviewers --- A firm understanding and
demonstrated experience applying LM and/or industry engineering and
systems engineering processes and principles to develop and deliver
high reliability, high cost, nationally critical satellite systems
--- Ability to analyze data from spacecraft subsystem providers
(e.g. bus, payload) and demonstrate compatibility, assess
requirements compliance, identify and resolve risks, and implement
opportunities for improved solutions vs. system requirements ---
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social
skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building
solid relationships with team members, leadership, and customers

Pay Rate: In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work
Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $83,800 -
$139,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer
equity, as well as, market and business considerations when
extending an offer. This position is incentive plan eligible
Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated
with this position will be performed onsite at a designated
Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
